Good Evening.

I’m the optimist from Lavenham, Suffolk who bought the ex-Peter Bowen car on the recent ‘Car&Classic’ online auction.

Not the best idea to buy sight unseen online, and I guess some aspects of this car disappoint, but overall, not bad.

It’s had plenty of mechanical work between 2017 and 2018, but the body needs attention.

Priority job is to re-seat and reseal the rear window, then replace the boot floor and rear seat seatback.

Rear seat leather is salvageable, not so sure about the fronts.

I think I’ll have to remove the doors to properly inspect their internals, and the A-post lower sections will need my attention.

Any ideas on the best method to remove the doors ?

Paint is poor, but I like that look.
