Fire Safety Stick – fire extinguisher

I wonder what the dimensions and fixing arrangements are for the Fire stick? I have a standard-type powder extinguisher on the floor of the Special, just forward of the passenger seat squab. Tim.

I hope we have a club member that has tested or seen one in action, I defiantly think they sound like a good idea, especially after couple of fuel related stories from last nights Zoom meeting.

Well it looks brilliant – small, and non-damaging too.  I will quite likely get one for my car.  Unless anyone says they’re rubbish of course.

I wonder what the shelf life of them is.

Do any club members have any experience of the ‘Fire Safety Stick’ ??????  They seem to be a useful item to add to your Allard. I plan to contact Motorsport UK for their advise with ref to competition use. I have noticed that some of the reputable motorsport suppliers and Marine Chandlery’s are now selling them.  Are they a good way to have a usable fire extinguisher in your Allard ? Your comments please   Ron
