AOC competition in 2022

Just a quick update of next year’s events. I will add them all to the AOC online calendar as well as highlight them in the next issue of the ‘Tailwagger’ and on the ‘AOC calendar’.
I look forward to seeing some of you at few of the 2022 events.
Especially the events run by 500 owners association / Bentley Driver / AC owners club and Aston Martin owners club.

Tim.    That’s exactly the type of events I am looking for.  VSCC trials are part of our calendar  in-fact Jon scored double points for the VSCC lakes trial as its one of our ‘core’ events. We still have the Cotswold trial and VSCC winter driving tests still to go in 2021.  So any ideas of all types of events greatly appreciated.

I’m afraid I can’t offer any more dates / events as I’m a newbie to such things.  I will be attending as many as I can though.

It’s probably not relevant for most of us, Ron (because of the later period of most of our cars), but the VSCC Lakes Trial is in mid-November (it took place last weekend). I see that Jon Rose was campaigning Tailwagger ll, and as usual, did well. There is also a Historic Trials Car event in Cumbria, near Penrith; l’m not sure of its exact date in ’22, but this year it was in late August. I broke down (with my fuelling problems!) on the way there, but l had intended to take part in the Trial. Tim.

I have just started to compile the 2022 list of competition events that we as a club would like to attend on mass. So far the Allard owner club have been invited to enter              The 500 Association Wiscombe hill climb.  –  The HSTA heritage Trial Somerset.  –  The AC owners Goodwood Sprint –  and – The Bentley drivers club Silverstone race meeting.        Now’s the time for you to suggest any other events you would like to see us enter as a group of competitors.
