<p style=”text-align: left;”>Just fitted a Facet petrol pump plus pressure regulator to the Special, after the AC mechanical and SU pumps proved incapable of supplying enough juice to my new 97s! On Saturday l took the Special to the ‘Diesel Doctor’ on the Team Valley in Gateshead, to have the fuel pressure to the carbs set to 2.5 lbs/sq. in at idle.
