Hi Dominic, I am also fairly new to the club / Allard ownership having bout my P special 2.5 years ago and also having relatively little mechanical experience. I can't help you with the hood question but I'm sure there are people on here who can, this forum is still slowly gaining momentum so give it time. There is an online social Zoom call every two weeks on a Tuesday at 6pm so that'd be a good place to ask. I'm sure someone will be able to help you out. Hopefully see you at an event soon, Ben
