Reply To: P1 oil change, again.
In my experience, Russell, some (perhaps many) Ford Pilot 3.6l engines weren’t provided with the luxury of an oil filter – certainly mine hasn’t one. There is a take-off plug for a tap/piping at the n/s rear of the block if you wish to fit and mount a filter canister, but all l do is change the engine oil every year/1500 mls, whichever comes sooner.
