Since I currently have no engine in my P1 coupé, and a lovely clean freshly painted chassis I want to take this opportunity to replace all the bushes / soft parts which are prone to wear, e.g. those at each rear end of the bars which the front suspension pivots on, and each end of all the steering arms.

It also seems like a sensible plan to replace the shocks and the rubber stops for both the front and rear suspension.  I’m sure there are others too which you guys can think of.

Can anyone help me with my shopping list?  I’ll be honest, I don’t even know where to start!!

Spax do the right rear and front shock absorbers the rear ones I replaced on my P last March just tell them to look my order up from last March it will give you the part number and everything and they come with rubbers. Spax are very reasonably priced particularly compared to Demon Tweeks. Yours PL

That’s amazing, thank you!  I was thinking about getting adjustable ones for the front since the springs have had 1.5 inches cut off them and I’m not sure what that’s going to do to the handling.  Also the rear body is probably going to be much lighter, so might get adjustable ones for that too.  Your order will have dimensions though, so that’s super helpful!
